I have not noticed the battery loosing power quickly or not holding a charge when not in use.

I was going to buy the Canon battery for my new Canon DSLR then saw this much cheaper product. At first, I was skeptical, but I saw some positive reviews from other Lenmar users and that they had no problems. I gave it a shot and it works great. No reason to spend $80 for a Canon battery. This works perfectly fine.

As others have noted, this is an exact replacement for the original equipment on my Canon Rebel and works just as well. I have 2 now, so I switch back an forth often, usually before the battery dies, so I can’t say exactly how many exposure before it dies, but can tell you I’ve taken over 200 on one battery and it was still OK.

I haven’t noticed any difference between this and the battery from Canon that came with the charger. I have NOT done comparison tests, but I just haven’t noticed any differences. At this point I’ve probably charged it, a dozen times? I’ll update if I notice some degradation in performance relative to the Canon.

This battery is a great back up to the one I got with the camera.
